*The Colonies and England*
England and the colonies had many problems. They clashed over ECONOMIC & POLITICAL issues. England wanted all the power and imposed strict control over trade. Taxes that England imposed made the colonists upset and angry. They had to help pay for the French & Indian War. Colonists had to obey all the English laws and most of the las were unfair. The colonists didn't enen get to elect thier own governors, instead the king sent a governor to govern the colonists. Each colony had its own set of laws and they were monitored by colonial governors.
